Policella Farms wants everyone to be able to learn about our farm, our produce and how to work with us. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we keep checking it as the site changes.
What We Do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers can announce.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and controls meet colour contrast requirements.
- Animations and videos stop automatically if your device is set to reduce motion, and videos have pause buttons.
- Our Formosa film has captions in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
- The contact form explains each error and moves you to the first field that needs attention.
Accessibility Settings
The round accessibility button in the bottom-left corner of every page opens a panel where you can:
- make text larger,
- turn on high contrast,
- underline every link,
- switch to a plainer font with extra spacing, and
- pause animations, scrolling effects and moving video.
Your choices are saved in your browser on this device only. They are not sent to us. Your browser’s own zoom, text size and colour settings also work on this site.
Known Limitations
- The map on our contact page is provided by Google, and we can’t fully control how accessible it is. Our address, phone number and directions link are always shown as text beside it.
